The Clearwater area still has short sale homes and foreclosed homes at great prices.

Our local market has become a lot more stable, and we don't have much inventory at the moment. Costs and interest rates can only start to go up.

Movies in the Park, Dunedin Florida

Pioneer Park in Downtown Dunedin hosts a nearly extinct pleasure.
Once every 2 weeks for the next couple of months they hold a " Movies in the park " evening.

Take a lawn chair and a bag of your favourite goodies and sit back and enjoy the film, just like you did when you were a kid, or like your Mom and Dad used to do.

This week its the turn of that fantastic old film "Gone with the wind "

Palm Harbor Citrus Festival 2012

Just a short walk from our Vacation Rental homes this week end and you will be right in the middle of the Palm Harbor Citrus Festival. There is lots to do for everybody with the Amusement fun fair being the main attraction.

Downtown Palm Harbor now has the reputation for holding really good fairs and shows throughout the year.

Tarpon Springs Greek Parade

What a fantastic time to be held today at Tarpon Springs. Its the Greek parade throughout the town and the sponge docks.
If you enjoy the atmosphere of Greece, the wonderful Greek food ( the pastries are to die for ) or just fancy something a little different to do for the day. Head on down to Tarpon Springs, just a few minutes from our Vacation rental homes.

Antiques at Downtown Dunedin

Dunedin will host another of their popular Antiques and Craft shows this Saturday the 24th. The stalls hold a variety of things to buy or just admire. Take some time out to eat, stroll and enjoy our fantastic Florida weather.

Downtown Dunedin will be busy this week end as on Sunday the 25th they will also hold " The taste of Dunedin "

Top things to do in the Palm Harbor area

1) Walk to Downtown Palm Harbor from our Vacation rental homes and enjoy the great restuarants there.
Peggy O'Neils Irish pub and Thirsty Marlins to name two. Also our great deli / coffee houses, The Witches Brew and the Sutherland cafe. Enjoy a speciality coffee and watch the world go by.

2) Take the children to one of the wonderful parks we have that surround our area. Lake Tarpon has, Anderson park and Chestnut park along its edges. Both are natures paradise and full of wildlife. Rent a  pontoon out on the lake and enjoy a days fishing. Walls spring park, Howard park and Sunset Beach park all in Tarpon Springs, have something different for all the family to enjoy. Wall Springs park dates from the 20's when Hollywood movie stars came to the area.

3) Rent a cycle and go north and south along the Pinellas trail. One way takes you to Historic Dunedin the other to the delights of the Greek Sponge docks in Tarpon springs. A good way to burn up the kids energy and its free !

4) Take stroll around Historic Old Palm Harbor and see the real Florida Cracker houses in their full glory. You can also see all our different vacation rental homes on the way.

5) We have a large new YMCA in 16th st with a huge pool and fitness centre. If you are staying in one of our rental homes, they will offer a weekly membership

New Sunday Brunch

Crescent Oaks Country club, where our Falcons Tarpon Springs rental home is located, is now open on Sundays for a great Buffet Brunch. The dining room overlooks the golf course and is in a wonderful setting.
